Nomade Office project

As part of the Living Lab Brie’Nov, which I ran from 2015 to 2017, I initiated a project on teleworking in rural and peri-urban areas. This initiative allowed me to be a precursor by setting up a telecentre and participating in the structuring of a departmental representative organization, Télécentres 77 and regional initiatives, the third-party collective of Ile de France, in which I participate, along with other members of Brie’Nov, in the various boards of directors.

I became co-creator and shareholder of the Cooperative of Collective Interest (SCIC) Nomade Office, the first cooperative of collective interest in the Ile-de-France region, to operate a telecenter network. I participated in the finalization of this project, its layout and its uses, which enabled us to be awarded several times and to benefit from collaboration with institutional investors (including the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations) and major accounts ( SNCF, Ag2r la Mondiale, National Union of Incubators …). With the other partners, it seemed to us that this was the only way to test this project and, in particular, to involve the different communities more closely. This first telecenter place was conceived as a key player in territorial development, strengthening the residential economy and providing services related to training, telemedicine and action to bridge the digital divide. The concept of planning, wood and hemp, and reflection on the potential uses of the place, allowed to experiment solutions adapted to the local territorial context.
